On Saturday 14th November at 2.30 , there is an Auction advertised on the French auctioneers Website (www.interencheres.com) At Nueil sur Layon 49560 . This is a sale on behalf of an english couple that have returned to the UK. There is loads of stuff of interest to builders and renovators ! a couple of 4x4's, 6m long caravan , a digger, several dumpers, mixers, scaffold. might be an interesting afternoon out for some of you ?

Many people are still waiting for the definitive answer regarding the reserve situation on this auction, it has been reqested on other AI sites as well, but "Joe" has not clarified it as yet.

I like others, attended the last sale of this plant and to say that it was rather dated and not in tip top condition would be an understatement. One item that comes to mind was an old minidigger which was started at 8K euro, needless to say it didn't sell.

If you are serious about selling this stuff "Joe" it has to at least start off at a realistic price in order to generate interest, if people want to bid up after that then so be it. So come on are there reserves on it or not and if so how can buyers determine these reserves on the website of the auctioneer.

As far as I'm aware, only one item has a reserve , and that is the 1950's showman's caravan ..The digger You mentioned at the previous sale WAS Sold after the sale . I could not sell it at below 8k as it was not mine to sell !!! and did owe the owner approx that amount !
As I explained to you before , and as explained to everyone at the last sale ..My mental wellbeing is fragile for periods of time , and previously no one organised the auctioneer in time . So the best I could do was offer the few people that turned up before, the chance to buy any items they wished to ,(and approx 10k worth was purchased) but I could not auction these items myself legally .All this was explained ...Ring the auctioneers if you want to discuss this further , as caterers etc have all been sorted by them .There number is as follows.
